DESCRIPTION

Building Communities, the workshop was coordinated by ARCò and organized by Praxis collective and Rivularia association that won the call for bids "giovani progetti 2016" announced by the office of youth policy of "Comune di Piacenza". The workshop dveloped in two phases. The first one was design for architects and students the second one building open for all the citizen. Workshop's aim was to reconquer the urban space through the design of micro architectures that could be contain in a parking lot: 4 prototypes were made each one connected to a style of living the city: -play -sport -theatre -green, that in the next few months will occupy various places in Piacenza. Till the 12 of May the architectures will be in "Piazza Cittadella" in front of "Palazzo Farnese" then they will be relocated in "Piazzetta Plebiscito" and lastly in "Giardini Margherita".
